DRUGS Ryan B. Wasserberg, 18, of 458 Chesterfield Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of cannabis March 24 on the 1100 block of East Port Clinton Road while police investigated a suspicious vehicle. His court date is April 11 in Mundelein. THEFT Julie J. Waryck, 21, of 26267 N. Highland Drive, Mundelein, was charged with retail theft March 21 at 7-Eleven after she left the store without paying for $7.50 in candy. She was also arrested on a Lake County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Her court date is April 15 in Waukegan. Martin Perez, 48, of 207 W. Church St., Wauconda, was charged with retail theft March 23 at Kohl’s after he left the store without paying for $157.40 in jewelry and accessories. His court …

ALCOHOL Pari Sivakumar, 44, of 1070 Holly Circle, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above .08, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident March 15 on the 300 block of West Townline Road. He posted his driver’s license and a $100 cash bond. His court date was not available. Misael Abarca, 20, of 931 S. Lake St., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a seatbelt, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance March 17 on the 700 block of east Townline Road. POSSESSION A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor and smoking in a non-designated area on March 1 at the Vernon Hills Metra station. His court date is April 11. Austin R. Pisula, 21, of 201 Arcadia Ct., Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, battery to a police officer  and resisting arrest on March 2 at his home. Police said while they were conducting a well-being check, Pisula picked the pushed the officers. He was remanded on a $75,000 bond. His court date was not available. Deerpath Drive, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, consumption of alcohol by a minor and unsafe lane change on Feb. 16 on Route 45 and Grosse Pointe Circle after police saw her drive off the roadway and onto the shoulder and smelled alcohol on her breath. Also charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor was Kyley L. Majmudar, 18, of 407 Farmingdale Circle. Majmudar posted a $1,500 recognizance bond, while Dougherty posted a $1,000 recognizance bond and her driver’s license.
