$0. Well, I guess the gas costs me $10 a summer? Large yard. My landscaper is good about not working too early or too late, not blowing grass out into the street and never mowing in the evening when neighbors have their windows open. My landscaper walks slowly behind a lawn mower and bags the grass clippings so compost can accumulate over the summer for next years garden. My landscaper cuts the grass on various days of the week based upon when the grass needs cutting not based upon what day of the week it is.

Thanks Patch for some actual real estate news reporting. Week after week of foreclosure 'reporting' was getting old!

Glad you mentioned Mayberry. Jim Nabors recently married his partner of 38 years. Even Mayberry has Gay people seeking and deserving equality.

Did anyone happen to notice the absence of a real "left turn" lane on Lake Cook at Waukegan yesterday? Down to two lanes, we were promised left turn lanes, well it was a go straight or turn left lane and the right lane was a right turn only lane. How stupid! People wanting to go straight through Waukegan Road were sitting behind people wanting to turn left, while the right turn only lane was wide open. I thought this project had a full-time Village manager dedicated to preventing screw ups like this. Now, the library and what other businesses have to close due to no water. Looking like another fiasco!

How many more Gay people does God have to create before it finally dawns on many of you that he wants them around? That question was asked by a Minnesota Representative during their debate about marriage equality and I happen to agree with it.
The comment above about homophobia is correct. Many species have homosexuals only one species has homophobes...humans.
This isn't about changing traditional marriage, it's not about religion at all. Marriage is a civil ceremony a lot of times. Many marriages are between opposite sex couples who can't bear children, so that argument about marriage must produce children doesn't stand. Homophobia is about the only thing that explains many of the negative comments.

Richard Schulte? I think the most links he ever had in one comment was 4 Stew has 7! (Most from the same bigot) I'm afraid since Schulte moved to the redneck Riveria and reduced his bandwidth to that available at McDonalds we may have seen the last of his nonsense. Stewert is an adequate fill-in along with Nancy Thorner.

Darn, I didn't get the letter. During the campaign Mr. Dold was amazingly good about using his postage franking privilege to keep all of us in the 10th 'updated'. I guess the bug thing isn't working out. Figure spraying bugs would be kind-alike riding a bike, once you know how.... Walter's right. Mr. Atsaves and Nancy Thorner will make sure Mr. Dold gets all those WASP Lake Forest votes, but he will get them anyway.

DR; "odd balls of society". So, in your little homophobic mind a minority is an "odd ball". Gays should be equal as anyone else. America does not take rights away, we grant rights. We expand, not contract intellect. At least some of us do. You and uncle Lennie probably don't have any gay friends or relatives that you know about. You know them, but probably not as LGBT, they just won't have you as part of their life...and I don't blame them. Perhaps Alabama or South Carolina would be more welcoming of your attitude. Get yerself a trailer and camo and fit in there too. It's a shame you're a 'Deerfield Resident'. Many residents of Deerfield are tolerant citizens. Take your hate somewhere else.

AD, I hope your preacher does just that in his sermon so you're church can lose its tax exempt status and start paying taxes for its bully pulpit, even Fox News pays taxes. Earth Day a communist conspiracy? I thought I had heard it all.

Hey, Louis got Ike elected! You're forgetting all his success story (ies). People who complain about high taxes in Lake County should look to people like Republican Machine Man Louis. The Republicans have controlled Lake County and our property tax rates are higher than Cook County. Taking a can of Spam to a food bank once a year is about all we can expect from the Lake Forest Republican alum, otherwise they may think themselves a bleeding heart liberal!
