I grew up in Libertyville , attended Butterfield, Highland and Libertyville High Schools, and I was actively involved in Theater and Music.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Acting from Illinois State University and promptly moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. For over a decade, I worked as an actor for various stage, television, film and voice over productions, as well as writing and directing independent films.My wife and I made the decision to move back to Libertyville so that our children could have the same wonderful opportunities we had growing up.

I currently teach Movie Making and Acting, continue to perform on stage and voice over, and I am attending school to become a High School English and Theater  teacher.
