I have been an ICU nurse for 37 years and am am passionate about patient advocacy after seeing the changes in health care over the past years, as well as experiencing some crises in my own family. I live in Libertyville and have raised 3 children here; my youngest is now a freshman at Illinois State University. I am active in my church, community and international service projects, through Rotary International. I am a member of the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club. I am also president and founder of Hands and Hearts International, Inc., a humanitarian organization that improves rural health care in underserved communities in Africa. I still work as an ICU nurse at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where I have been for over half of my career. In my spare time, I love to garden, cook, entertain and enjoy relaxing lunches with my dear friends. I love Libertyville and the people who live here!
