Volunteers Sought for Copeland Manor Playground Project

Want to help install a new section of playground at Copeland Manor School? The project is set for Aug. 9-10.

Copeland Manor School will soon have a new section of playground just in time for the new school year—and you can help install it!

Libertyville District 70 is looking for Copeland Manor parents and alumni (over age 18) who are interested in helping to install a new section of playground at the school. It will replace an older section of the playground that is being torn down.

The installation is slated for the evening of Aug. 9 and throughout the day of Aug. 10. The Copeland Manor Family Association is set to unpack the equipment between 5 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9. The assembly and installation will take place between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 10, according to the district.

Using volunteers to install the equipment will save the Family Association about $12,000, according to the district.
