Police Blotter: LHS Football Building Burglarized; Traffic Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests and crimes from July 9-14.

These incidents were among the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Burglary

The concession and football recreation building at Libertyville High School was burglarized sometime between 5:05 p.m. July 10 and 5:45 a.m. July 11. Police said a number of electronics were stolen, including two ceiling-mounted projectors, an X-box system, several GoPro cameras, a laptop and two hand-held Sony digital cameras. Police are investigating.
 
Traffic

Russell S. Fyfe, 48, of 921 Warwick, Libertyville, was charged with driving while license revoked July 9 at Lake Street and Brainerd Avenue. He was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a traffic control device. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 11 court date.

Eleuterio Montero, 29, of 1716 Lloyd, Waukegan, was charged with not having a valid drivers license July 13 on Route 137 east of Milwaukee Avenue. He was also cited for driving while license suspended. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 14 court date.

Gregory L. Palmer, Jr., 22, of 4160 Brentwood, Waukegan, was charged with driving while license suspended July 14 on the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. He was also cited for speeding. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 21 court date.
