Five Football Questions With: Patrick McKiernan

Editor's note: In honor of the start of the Libertyville High School football season, I stopped by a recent varsity football practice to interview some players who volunteered. Name: Patrick McKiernan

Position: Safety and running back

1. What's great about the team this year? I just really love this team. We're great friends.

2. Who will be your biggest opponent this season? Stevenson High School. We know a lot of kids on the team; we were on the same teams when we were young.

3. What do you love about playing football? I just love the game. I love the way it flows. I love the way it feels on Friday night.

4. Who is your favorite player in the NFL? Charles Tillman. 

5. What do you do when you're not playing football? I'm on the basketball team, and I work out, getting ready for the season.
