Kindergartners Share Their First Day With Parents
Libertyville Elementary District 70 lets parents tag along with kids on bus rides, in the classrooms.
The first day of school can be stressful for any child, especially little ones who are experiencing it for the first time.
has come up with a unique solution: kindergartners get to share the day with their parents. In addition to joining their children on the bus ride to and from school, parents get an opportunity to meet the teachers, and help their children get accustomed to their new surroundings. It's the perfect way to create an everlasting memory of their first day of school.
