Video: District 70 Implements Interactive White Boards

Teachers at Adler Park School demonstrate new technology.

Libertyville Elementary School District 70 plans to outfit all large classrooms with interactive technology by fall, according to Pam Imholz, director of technology for the district.

The interactive whiteboards function as regular white boards with one important difference: they are fully interactive for students and teachers.

Using a touchpen that functions in much like a computer mouse, students can click and drag items, write on the boards, and even access multi-media and stream web content.
